Start with who will sit
Count the children who need a seat at the same time — not every adult, and not every name on the invite if some kids will only stand and play. A snack or cake table needs a chair for each child who will sit together.
One table seats six
Each Mini Gather 4 ft table seats six children — two on each long side and one on each end. Two separate tables seat twelve. Two tables placed end to end seat ten, because the shared ends disappear.
Typical backyard birthday sizes
- 6 children — 6 chairs and 1 table.
- 12 children — 12 chairs and 2 tables.
- 18 children — 18 chairs and 3 tables.
- 24 children — 24 chairs and 4 tables. We have 30 chairs and 5 tables in total.
Need more than we have on a date?

The absolute minimum order is $20 on chairs and tables (before delivery). Delivery is extra.
Delivery is $25 for addresses within 15 miles. From 15–30 miles the fee is $25 plus $0.75 per mile over 15. Beyond 30 miles we send a custom quote. Deliver-and-collect is two trips.
Self-pickup is free. The full pickup address is sent by text and email right after you book and pay. Pickup is in the south Charlotte area near StoneCrest at Piper Glen, off Rea Road (28277) – we do not publish the street on this page.
Deposit: under $60 (including delivery), pay $30 or the order total, whichever is lower. $60 and up, pay 50%. The deposit is 100% non-refundable. Card only — no cash on the website.
Birthday chair-count questions
Ten children usually need 10 chairs and 2 tables. Two separate tables seat twelve; two tables end to end seat ten. Leave a spare chair if a grown-up will sit with the kids.
No. You can book chairs only. Most backyard birthdays add one or two 4 ft tables so cake and snacks have a kid-height surface. Each table seats six.
Chairs are $3.50 each, $3.35 each at 10 or more, and $3.20 each at 20 or more. Tables are $7.50 each. The absolute minimum order is $20 on chairs and tables before delivery. These are the same rates checkout uses.
Our fleet is 30 chairs and 5 tables. Ask for more on the enquiry form for that date — no deposit until we confirm. Do not assume extra inventory is waiting.
